In a non-conference match against Dowling College, Nyack brought home a 4-2 victory.

Senior Phil Erwin (New Durham, N,H.) led the Warriors lineup going 3-4 at the plate with 1 walk.  In his appearances, Erwin earned a double, an RBI, and scored one run for Nyack.  After stealing 2nd and advancing to 3rd on a throwing error, senior John Kennedy (Fort Lauderdale, FL) scored on Erwin's double, breaking the 1-1 tie.  Following the momentum, junior Ryan Kahl (Sebastian, FL) hit a sacrifice fly to left field, driving Erwin in to establish a Warrior lead.  Nyack would find their final point in the top of the 6th as freshman Carlos Pino Jr. (Miami, FL) brought junior Nick Petratoni (Tampa, FL) in off a sacrifice fly to center field.

Nyack outperformed Dowling in the field, limiting themselves to one error as opposed to Dowling's 3.   The Warriors demonstrated resilience in the field, preventing 6 runners from rounding the bases despite being in scoring position.  In the bottom of the eighth Kennedy, senior Jesse Barton (Fort Lauderdale, FL), and sophomore Yoni Rodriguez (Pompano, FL) turned a double play at 2nd and 1st to wrap up the inning and help secure the Warrior victory.

The Warriors featured 3 pitchers throughout the night, seniors Erik Bussey (Parker, CO), Jean-Felix Proulx (Montreal, Quebec), and, coming in with the win, junior Jose Corrales (Guatemala City, GT).  Bussey led Nyack from the mound for three innings earning 1 strike-out and allowing 1 run.  Proulx allowed 1 run and 3 hits in 4 innings, while achieving 2 strikeouts.  Corrales held firm at the mound, with a solid defense behind him to prevent any hits or runs in his 2 inning tenure producing 2 strikeouts.
