Baseball Drops Doubleheader to Dominican College Chargers

Nyack, NY - The Nyack College men's baseball team lost both games against the Dominican College Chargers in a CACC doubleheader played on Wednesday afternoon at Nyack High School. Both games ended with a final score of 4-0 in favor of the Chargers.

Game One

Game one saw the Chargers score runs in the second, third, and fifth inning to shutout the Warriors with a final score of 4-0. 

Hayden Killebrew pitched six innings for the Warriors, striking out three batters, while giving up eight runs. Chris Otero finished game one with two strikeouts, giving up three hits over two innings. 

Game Two

The Chargers scored the first run of the second game in the bottom of the second inning. Dominican would add three more in the bottom of the sixth inning to seal the 4-0 victory in game two. 

Kyle Tedesco led the Warriors from the mount, pitching 5.1 innings, striking out five batters, while giving up three hits and four runs. Zachary Martirano would take over to finish the game for Nyack.

Up next: The Warrior will be back tomorrow for another doubleheader with the Chargers. First pitch is slated for 3:00pm at Nyack High School.
