Philadelphia, PA. -- The Nyack College men's basketball team suffered a 44-55 conference loss in a road game against the Holy Family University Tigers on Wednesday night.
Holy Family got on the boar first and started a 8-2 run in the opening minutes of the first half to gain a 6-point lead at the 16:57 mark. The Warriors would come within two, before the Tigers used another 9-0 run to pull ahead with a 9-point lead at the 11:29 mark, 8-17. Nyack was unable to close that 9-point gap until halftime and both teams went into the lockerrooms with a score of 24-33 in favor of the Tigers.
The Warriors would trail the Tigers all throughout the second half, while Holy Family was able to extend their lead to as much as 38 points at the 5:50 minute mark of the second half. The second half would eventually finish with a score of 57-91.
Nyack returns to action on Saturday, Jan. 7, when they host the Chestnut Hill College Griffins. Tip-off is slated for 3:00pm
