Nyack, NY – Former Nyack guards Jaron Smith and Robert Tyler (Class of 2017) will participate in the elite IBall National Pro Combine. This innovative two-day event will be held on June 24th and 25th from 9am-8pm at Pottstown Senior High School in Pottstown, PA. The combine will feature some of the nation's top free agents that will compete in front of professional scouts in hopes for contract opportunities in both the U.S. and abroad.
Former Nyack All-Conference Forward Nick Moore competed in the IBall Combine in 2015 and it helped jump-start his professional career. Moore has played the last two years professionally in London and Italy respectively.
Robert Tyler (Beltsville, MD) finished his two-year career as a Warrior compiling 783 points in 52 games played. Smith's career high was a 28 point performance against conference foe Bloomfield College on Feb. 23, 2016.
Coach Crafton stated: "I want to personally thank IBall founder/director Howard Brown for his continued support of Nyack Basketball. Iball played a major role in helping Nick Moore gain exposure in 2015 and also Dante Agnew with an internship opportunity in 2016. The relationship continues with Rob and Jaron competing this weekend. We wish both guys well as they pursue their dreams."
