Men's Soccer Falls on the Road to Caldwell University

Caldwell, NJ– The Nyack College men's soccer team was back in CACC action on Tuesday afternoon when they traveled to New Jersey to take on the Caldwell University Cougars. Caldwell scored a goal in each half to upend the Warriors with a score of 0-2. 

THE BASICS:

Records: CU (5-7-1, 5-3-1 CACC), NC (1-11-0, 0-7-0 CACC)

GAME SUMMARY:
Caldwell scored the lone goal of the first half in the 25th minute. Nyack was unable to tie the game despite seven shots with five of them on target, resulting in a 1-0 halftime score. The Cougars struck the second time of the day seven minutes into the second half, which would also mark the final score. Caldwell outshot the Warriors 6-1 in the second 45 minutes, resulting in a 11-8 shot advantage for the Cougars. 

KEY PERFORMERS:
Djovanny Therasse led the Warriors with 3 shots, while Paul Montufar contributed a pair of shots as well.

The Warriors will host the Chestnut Hill College Griffins on Saturday at 2:30pm for their homecoming match.
