Lady Warriors  Fall To Caldwell and  Holy Family In Tuesday & Wednesday Games

Philadelphia, PA ( April 3, 2013)

Nyack College drops two to Caldwell on Tuesday April 2nd, final scores were 4-0 and 6-1.

Today, Wednesday April 3rd the Lady Warriors lost both games to Holy Family. 3-2 in game one and 8-0 in game two. The game started off with a bang when senior leadoff Anna Bailey-Shuman started the game off with a triple over the left fielders glove. 
Starting pitcher for game one was sophomore Chelsea Macaluso who pitched a hard fought game through 6 innings giving up 7 hits, and only one earned run coming off a homerun by number 7 Deanna Myeis.
The warriors found themselves down 3-0 going into the top of the 7th. With one out and a man on first number 12 Tori Flemming hit her first collegiate homerun in the regular season bringing the warriors to within one. 
In game two freshman Christine Kline, and freshman Tori Flemming split 4 innings giving up 7 runs on 5 hits. Sophomore pitcher Chelsea Macaluso came in to finish the game allowing 1 unearned run, and striking 2 of the 7 she faced.
The Holy Family Tigers 4 homeruns resulting in 7 of the 8 runs given up the Lady Warriors. 
Nyack will practice tomorrow, and will be back in action on Friday April 5th at 3pm and 5pm against Felician away.
