Nyack took on two opponents in Day 3 of "The Spring Games tournament in Clermont, FL.  The first match of the day was against the University of Mount Olive; the second saw the Warriors face Indiana University of Pennsylvania.  Despite a competitive effort from Nyack, both games would be awarded to their opponents.

Three Warriors tied for hits in Game 1; sophomores Aferditea Sinanaj (Tappan, NY), Katalina Padilla (Las Cruces, NM) with a double, and Kylie Brase (San Diego, CA) all earned 2 hits for Nyack.  Graduate student Meghan Richards (Nanuet, NY) used her hit of the game to drive in two runs.  Sophomore Vicotoria Triozzi (Branchburg, NJ) and freshman Katie Lupinacci (Bordentown, NJ) each would add an RBI.

Nyack began the game strong, taking the lead with a sacrifice fly by Lupinacci allowing Brase to score in the top of the 2nd.  Mount Olive answered in the bottom of the second with a run of their own to tie up the game.  Nyack added 3 runs to the scoreboard in the top of the 4th, only to have Mount Olive immediately respond with 5 runs.  Nyack was unable to earn another run through the top of the 7th which closed the game with a final score of  6-4 in favor of Mount Olive.

Game 2 saw Triozzi, Richards, and Brase contribute again to the Warriors offense as they each earned 1 hit through their appearances at the plate.  Freshman Alissa Brugnoli (Hamilton, NJ) added 2 hits to the Warrior effort against Indiana (Pa.), including another home run for the 2016 season.  Brugnoli went 2-3, with a walk, crossing the plate with each appearance.

The Warriors defense made a name for themselves turning 2 double plays through the match.  Sinanaj turned the first double in the top of the 4th catching a line drive at short and picking off the runner at first.  Triozzi would mirror the play at second in the top of the 6th, tagging the runner from first in the baseline.  Unfortunately, the Warrior effort was not enough to overcome Indiana (Pa.) resulting in a final score of 9-4.
