Nyack, NY - THe Nyack College women's softball team lost both games in a CACC doubleheader played on Tuesday afternoon agains the Phialdelphia University Rams. The Rams took game one with a score of 1-0 and game two with a score of 2-0.
Both teams battled hard thoughout the first seven innings of the game, with neither team being able to score any runs, which meant that the game would have to be decided in extra innings. The Rams would use the opportunity to score their first run of the day in the top of the eight, which endd up being enough to take the win in game one.
Game two was also scoreless for the majority of the game. The Rams scored two runs in the top of the fifth to jump to a 2-0 lead. Nyack was unable to score any runs in the remaining two innings and the game eventually finished with a final score of 2-0 in favor of the Rams.
Up next: The Warriors will be back on Thursday when they travel to New Jersey to take on the Bloomfield College Bears in a CACC doubleheader. First pitch is slated for 3:00 pm.
