The Nyack College women's basketball team dropped a road contest to Chestnut Hill College inside Sorgenti Arena. CHC improves 6-9 overall and 4-4 in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference, while the Lady Warriors fall to 5-10 overall and 3-5 in the conference.

How It Happened:
Nyack shot a season-high field-goal percentage of 40.0-percent (32-80) resulting in a season-high 84 points on the night. The Warriors saw scoring contributions by each player with senior Jamie McKeither (Laurel, MD) pacing the team with her sixth double-double on the season. McKeither tied her season-best having registered 22 points and with that, she also yanked 13 boards.

Kelli Smoot (Baltimore, MD) stepped it up for Nyack with a season-best performance of 21 points on shooting 9-of-17 from the floor and 50-percent from three-point range while converting 2-for-3 at the charity stripe. Smoot also dished a game-high 6 assists and Warrior Raven Makins (Laurel, MD) chipped in with 11 points. On the defensive end, teammates Tori Trador (Seminole, FL) and Lisa Fields (Bronx, NY) put up 5 and 6 steals respectively while combining for 6 rebounds in the losing effort. 

For the Lady Griffins Brittany McDonough led her team with 20 points, Jaeda Wildgoose registered 19 points, Caity Cuhnin tallied 18 points, Nicole Parriski recorded 17 points, and rounding out the Chestnut double-figure scorers was Mary Trossi with 16 points.

The thrilling match saw one tie and five lead changes which included a stong fourth quarter where Nyack outscored CHC 34-23. The Warriors forced 29 Griffin turnovers compared to the 18 they forced over Nyack. CHC scored more points from Nyack turnovers(18) and won the rebounding battle by a margin of 55-39, while as a team, dished more assists (18-15).
