Nyack, NY - The Nyack College women's basketball was back on the road to take on the Concordia College Clippers in a CACC Divisional match up on Tuesday night.

- the game went back and forth in the opening four minutes of the first quarter, before the Clippers pulled away with a 21-2 run to end the quarter with a 28-9 advantage
- Nyack fought to close the gap throughout the second period outscoring to Clippers, 15-7 to cut the lead to 11 before the end of the half, 24-35
- Concordia pushed again with the start of the third and extended its lead up 19 before going in the final quarter of the game
- the Warriors enjoyed their best scoring outcome in the final quarter, putting 25 points up; Concordia, however, was unwilling to let Nyack come back and scored 23 points of its own in the 4th quarter to seal the victory
Kyla Given recorded her third double-double of the season with 11 points and 10 rebounds. Elle Nittinger and Jocelin Wright reached double-digit points with 14 and 12 points on the day. Nittinger fell short of a double-double by finishing the game with nine rebounds.
The Warriors will host Lock Haven in a non-conference match on Saturday at 1pm. The game will be part of this week's "Coaches vs. Cancer," a nationwide collaboration with the National Association of Basketball Coaches and the American Cancer Society to defeat a common enemy – cancer.
