Women's Lacrosse Falls To PhillyU, Lebo Scores Three Goals

NYACK, NY (April 13, 2013)

The Warrior Lacrosse team took Mosley Field on Saturday afternoon for a home Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) match-up against the Philadelphia University Lady Rams.

An early rally by PhillyU would get them ahead as Nyack would fall 21-3 to the No. 1 seed in the CACC South Division.

Freshman, Lauren Lebo controlled the offense, scoring all three Lady Warrior goals.

In the first half, twelve consecutive goals were made by the Rams.

At 7:33 Lebo would finally knock in the first Warrior goal. PhillyU would respond and add two more points and by the locker room break the scoreboard would show a score of 14-1.

During the second half the Lady Rams continued to extend their lead. The second Nyack goal was made at the 13:09 mark after six more PhillyU goals were made.

Six minutes later, a draw control win by Freshman, Hee Jae Ko would allow for an opportunity for Lebo to fire the third Nyack goal.

Despite the fight in the second half by the Warriors to regain control, in the end, Nyack would fall short and suffer another CACC loss.

Lax is back in action on Monday April 15th as the take on The University of Bridgeport in a non-CACC contest. This away game will be held in Connecticut at 5pm.
