NEW HAVEN, CT - The league office made the announcement on Monday afternoon for the reporting period ending Sunday, March 12th, 2017.
Women's lacrosse junior Victoria Silvers (Long Island, NY) was named the CACC Player of the Week. Silvers scored a combined 15 goals in two games this week, while also adding four assists. She was also added several defensive statistics, winning three draw controls and 13 ground balls.
Sophomore teammate Abby Wilmot has been named the CACC Defensive Player of the week. Wilmot recorded an impressive 24 ground balls and leads all NCAA D2 women's lacrosse athletes with a 9.25 ground balls per game. She also won 12 draw controls and caused 9 turnovers (Wilmot is also ranked 7th in the nation for caused turnovers).

The Warriors will go on to face the Roberts Wesleyan University Redhawks on Thursday at 2:00pm in Rochester, NY.
