Women's Volleyball falls to Philadelphia University Rams

Nyack, NY– The Nyack College volleyball team hosted the Philadelphia University Rams on Saturday afternoon in a CACC match. The Rams defeated the Warriors in a 3-1 (25-22, 13-25, 15-25, 14-25) decision at Bowman Gym.

The first set of the day was hard fought and the Warriors managed to come out on top with a score of 25-22. Nyack was hitting .167 during the set with 10 kills.

The Rams would go on to win the next three sets to finish the match with a score of 3-1.

Hadley Spresser led the Warriors with a team high 7 kills, while adding 6 digs. Alexus Winters chipped in 16 digs and Kaitlyn Massey led the offense with a total of 17 assist, while also adding 9 digs.

Nyack hit .016 in the match with 30 kills and 58 digs, while the Rams hit .188 with 39 kills and 56 digs.

The Lady Warriors will travel to Orangeburg, NY on Tuesday to take on the Dominican College Chargers. The game will start at 7:00pm.
