Women's Volleyball Earns W in Last Regular Season Home Match, 3-1

Nyack, NY - In a match this Tuesday, November 8th, the Warriors hosted the Concordia College Clippers for their last regular season home match. The game would conclude in 4 sets with final scores of 16-25, 25-17, 25-15, and 25-18 in favor of the Warriors.

Concordia came out hot and earned an early 6 point lead to win the first set. However, Nyack would fight back and garner the next three sets to earn the victory. Sophomore Megan Ma'afala-Maiava topped the Warriors offense with 11 kills against the Clippers, while junior Abbey Lawson added 8 kills. The Warriors successfully dug 51 of the Clipper's 128 attempts. Junior Kelsi Collins led the Warriors in digs with 18. Freshman Kaitlyn Massey (16) and junior Olivia Denny (12) would orchestrate the Warrior offense with a combined total of 28 assists.

Nyack Volleyball will be back in action on Saturday, when they travel to Post University for their final regular season game. The game will start at 2pm.
