Volleyball Rallies back from 0-2 Down and Beats Felician in Five

Nyack, NY – The Nyack College volleyball team was back in action on Wednesday night when they hosted the Felician University Golden Falcons in a CACC match at Bowman Gym. The Warriors rallied back from 0-2 down to beat Felician 3-2. 

THE BASICS:
Final: Felician 2, Nyack 3 (25-16, 25-16, 11-25, 19-25, 13-15)
Records: FU (5-12, 4-6 CACC), NC (7-11, 6-4 CACC)

GAME SUMMARY:
Felician enjoyed the better start and took sets one and two with scores of 25-16. But Nyack didn't give up and took the third set with a score of 25-11, before they tied the game in the fourth set with a score of 25-19 forcing a game-deciding fifth set. Both teams fought back and forth. With the game tied at 13-13 the Warriors scored back to back points to seal the win. 

KEY PERFORMERS:
Nyack was led by sophomore Kyra Zuhlke with 15 kills and senior Megan Ma'afala-Maiava with 14 kills. Rachel Medin recorded 45 assists and 17 digs. 

COMING UP NEXT:
Nyack will host the USciences Devils on Saturday in another CACC match at Bowman Gym. The game is scheduled for 1pm.
