Cary, N.C.- Nyack faced off with the Franklin Pierce University Ravens for the second time in a row on Thursday afternoon to conclude their Spring Break trip.

Game Summary:

  • Nyack got on the scoreboard first in the top of the second when Alec Petterson, Yoni Rodriguez, and Brandon Rivera scored off Raven errors
  • Franklin Pierce scored five consecutive runs in the bottom of the second to take the lead for the first time, 5-2
  • the Warriors answered in the top of the 4th when a Austin Fischer single allowed Rodriguez and Rivera to score
  • Herman Alvarado's single drove Quinton Pertkiewicz home to give Nyack the lead again
  • Nyack added another pair of runs in the top pf the 6th when Gabriel Vasquez tripled and Jeremiah Alonzo scored
  • Vasquez then scored himself off a Alvarado sacrifice fly
  • Nyack's scoring was round up by a Fischer run scored off a single by Alec Petterson in the top of the ninth and Rodriguez run off a Alonzo single in the top of the 10th
