Nyack, NY. - The Nyack College men's basketball continued to be victorious in the new year when they traveled to Delaware to square off with the No.2 of the CACC South Division Wilmington University Wildcats. The Warriors clinched a big 84-79 win over the Wildcats which improves their record to 3-2 in conference play.

- the game went back and forth with several lead changed in the opening minutes, but the Warriors eventually pulled away and established a ten-point lead with 9:23 to go.
- Wilmington found their way back into the game and finished the first half with three-point advantage over the Warriors at halftime
- Nyack jumped back ahead with the start of the second half and extended their lead to as much as 16 with 9:36 left in the game
- Wilmington once again battled back and cut the Nyack lead down to four, but the Warriors defended their small margin throughout the final seconds of the game to defeat the Wildcats 84-79
The win was a complete team effort by the Warriors who posted four players with double-digit points. Carl Balthazar stood out on the defensive side with a total of 12 rebounds, seven of them on the defensive end, while posting eight points on the day. He also added three blocks and a steal.
Nyack will be back next Saturday when they take on the Holy Family University Tigers on the road at 3pm.
