The Nyack College Warriors faced off against Goldey-Beacom in an away conference game. The Warriors fought hard but were unable to produce ending the game in a loss with a score of 1-5.
In the first half of the game both Goldey-Beacom and the Warriors went back and forth with who controlled the ball. Both teams equally had opportunities to take shots on goal. It wasn't until the end of the first half that Goldey-Beacom took control of the ball and found the back of the net twice before the period ended. One goal was scored at a time of 32:14 and the second was scored at 35:25, ending the first half with a total score pf 0-2.
In the second half of the game, the Warriors came out strong with a few shots on goal that were unable to find the back of the net. The Warriors had control of the ball for beginning of the second half but at a time of 70:10 the Warriors let uo for a split second and Goldey-Beacom was able to score. Beacom continued to keep control of the ball after the goal and managed to find the back of the net again at a time of 73:15. Nyack and Goldey-Beacom began to trade control fo the game, but at a time of 79:12 Nyack put themselves on the socreboard with a header goal off cross from right by Mitchell Reed. Nyack was unable to produce anything for the rest of the minutes which allowed Beacom to score one more time in the last minute of the game ending with a final score of 5-1.
