Nyack Softball Sweeps Holy Family University Tigers on the Road

Nyack College Warriors Softball swept Holy Family today in a conference double header. The final score of the first game was 12-0 and the final score of the second game was 11-4.

In the first game, scoring began in the second inning when Morgan Hans doubled to right field helping Stephanie White reach home. In the top of the third inning Alissa Bugnoli scored a homerun to left field for her team. The Warriors continued to dominate the scoreboard ending the game in the 5th innning.

In the second game, Nyack was the first on the scoreboard in the third inning when Erin O'Brien singled to center field helping Krissy Johnson score. By the top of the fourth inning the score for the Warriors was 8-0. Holy Family put themselves on the scoreboard in the fourth inning with a homerun. At top of the sixth inning Morgan Hans singled to center field where both Stephanie White and Janelle Adams were able to score due to an error by the center fielder. 

Key Performances: 

Janelle Adams was a key player today having 4 at bats, 3 hits, 4 RBIs, and scoring two runs for her team in the first game and 4 at bats, 3 hits, 2 RBIs, and 3 runs scored in the second game.
