Nyack, Ny - The Nyack College women's volleyball team ended their four-game losing streak with a home win over the Bloomfield College Bears on Wednesday night, 3-0.

- the first set went back and fourth between both teams with several tied scores and lead changes, with the score tied at 17-17 went on a 5-0 run to set themselves up for a 25-21 victory in set one
- the Warriors kept a slim lead throughout majority of the second set, which finished with a final score of 25-19
- Bloomfield looked like they could steal one in the third with a 23-21 lead, but the Warriors came back and took set three with a final score of 25-23
Nyack was led by sophomore Kyra Zuhlke with 18 kills. She was followed by Larreya Hayden (7 kills), Megan Ma'afala-Maiava (6 kills) and Kaitlyn Massey (5 kills). Rachel Medin orchestrated the Nyack offense with 33 assists, while British Dawson led the Warriors on the back court with 14 digs.

The Warriors will be back in action at home on Saturday when they host the Jefferson University Rams for their final CACC match, which is also senior day for Kaitlyn Massey, Larreya Hayden, and Megan Ma'afala-Maiava. The game is scheduled for 1pm.
