Nyack Steals Game From Dominican in Four

The Nyack Women's Volleyball team faced off against Domincan College in a home conference match. The Warriors trailed behind giving up the first match but came back strong winning the next three sets, securing the match in their record of wins. 

The first set, Dominican came out strong and took the Warriors of guard. Both teams traded points until the last few points of the game where Nyack lost the game on their own errors. 

In the second set, the Warriors came back and fought for every point. Nyack managed to find the lead and consistently stayed two points ahead of Dominican throughout the entire set. The Warriors secured the set win on a kill by Rachel Medin

In the third set, the Warriors found their groove and began to play as a team. They started the set off strong with three kills, two by Kyra Zuhlke and one by Paige Easley. Dominican was able to find some points here and there and tied up the set at 6-6, but that was not enough to keep the momentum going. Nyack scored five points in a row putting them in the lead. The set ended on a service ace by Bayleigh Massey securing another set win, making the overall 2-1.

In the fourth and final set of the game, the Warriors started off the game strong putting themselves in the lead at the very beginning. Dominican fought hard but was unable to bridge the gap of points. The set ended on a service ace by Cassady Hymes winning the set and taking the whole match as another conference victory under the Warriors belt.
